About
Playlllist is a micro-blog of carefully curated music recommendations. Each post suggests a single track or an album, with an optional brief note. Playlllist is an antidote to the ubiquitous playlist.
There is no rating or ranking algorithm, just pure subjective love for music. The frequency of posts is unhurried, offering a slow-paced amuse-bouche experience rather than acoustic fast food.

Playlllist wants to keep the recommendations as varied and broad as possible.
Playlllist attaches great importance to supporting the artists. Streaming is a convenient way to discover new music. At the same time, it should be known that streaming platforms pay miserable royalties. At Spotify, the artist gets an average of $0.00437 per stream. That means around 229,000 streams to make $1,000. Tidal is slightly better, with $0.01284 per stream, equivalent to 80,000 streams for $1,000. Still, that's just a drop in the ocean. Smaller musicians often fall short of the minimum payout threshold and get nothing from the cake. IMHO, the best way to support musicians is to buy their music directly.
Playlllist always shares the Bandcamp link of a publication, if available.
